Sustainable Development Goal 1 is about "no poverty" and is one of the 17 goals set by the United Nations in 2015. Its official wording is "end poverty in all its forms, everywhere".

My product will go to the poorest countries and I believe it will be mainly for African countries, as many children and parents do not have access to appropriate footwear.

Many children and parents in Africa walk barefoot all over Africa and because of this they get parasites that give them health problems and my project is shoes that can withstand all types of terrain whether mud or water.

And at a very low price, since these families do not have a lot of money.

Prototype 1

This was my first project thinking about the first idea of the shoe, starting by making a normal shoe with cardboard and tape and then thinking about the idea of the materials and what I could put on or take off.

Prototype 2

This was my second one and the difference is that I was able to finish it and put cardboard underneath simulating a tire as a sole.

Story board

This is my story board which consists of a child walking barefoot on the ground and picking up bacteria and viruses that then affect his health apart from damaging his feet by walking barefoot but then the same child walks on the same ground as before but much more comfortable and without picking up any virus from the ground.

Diagram

In my diagram there is a simple drawing that shows the shoe, the material it is made of, which is tire rubber, and also shows for whom these shoes will be used.

This is my final prototype and I could finish it but my idea was to make the base of cardboard and then cover all of it with tire in my case or other types of rubber, my final prototype also would not have laces because being hard rubber to weight the foot would be closed and would not come out of the foot.
