DECORATED WINDOWS

Alexandra Brasé
Our project consists of painting a window, we want to paint it on both sides because if it is closed you will see one drawing inside and another outside.
What we want to change in that place is that the moment people pass by they are impressed and that when they pass by that place seeing that window transmits joy to them. this site can improve because if there is a boring place and suddenly that painted window appears, that place is not so boring anymore.
I think that the reaction that people can have when seeing the project is good

This project consists in a decorated trash container designed to grab the viewers attention and inform them on ecology and plastic. This will encourage them to recycle instead of just being a big boring grey box. The trash container has papers with colorful text and a 3d printed piece glued to it.

My project is a planter cover with a magnetic target on the bottom.

The reason for the project is that the inside walls of the planter are a little rusty to make it look better aesthetically and the built-in dartboard is to give it more utility.

The cover is made of fabric hooked with magnets and the target is made of cardboard with a layer of adhesive magnets and another layer of colored paper to make it look nicer is hooked to a cardboard that is the one that slides through the wood that make the function of rails that are below, there are also included hinges for the target is lifted forward.

Project Statement:

My project is a house for sparrows at school, so they don't go hungry or thirsty. They have a plastic trough and feeder, the trough is inside and the trough is outside to attract the birds, under the trough there is a wooden pole for the birds to nest while they eat. In front of the door there is a wooden ramp, so the birds can be nestled in one place, different from the wooden pole that is under the feeder so that other birds can eat while they are poised on the wooden pole.

Inside the wooden house there is cotton to represent the nest.

Everything is hooked with silicone.

I have designed it with inkscape and I have cut the wood with the laser printer.

The objective of this project is to make it so that the tables and furniture edges in general are safer, especially for the younger kids at the school. The invention is a protective cover made out of Play-Doh for the tables and furniture it's aspheric, and as a fun extra make it so that there's a drawing board attached to a wooden plank. It is also adaptable to any type of corner.

DELIGHTFUL INTERVENTIONS

My project is to hang a box with games, flowers and a bench in the barrier in fron of the school. I did it because when I was little, I spent a lot of time bored in front of the school waiting to get into. I wanted to make the kids have fun while they are waiting. I also want to make them relax. The bench blends and under it there is a xylophone to make some noises. In the lateral, it has some hooks the hang the jackets. My desing is make to the kids of the school.

Final project description:

This project was inspired by the California Rose Garden. When I thought of this project I specifically kept in mind the face that kids but when they enter the school so this project is to make kids/adults feel free, happy, sensible, motivated, and encouraged with a simple planter. This planter is made out of recycled wall "wood" and paper. The inside of the planter has an  original design because instead of having only soil we have plastic bottles that people don't want , volcanic rocks to substitute all of the extra soil so that it's lighter and a hydroponic system to water the plants. The planter is also hung by 2 simple 3d printed hooks that are easy to replace in case it breaks. On the face of the planter that faces the sidewalk we have a small motivational phrase to hopefully make people feel a bit more motivated/encouraged.

The idea of the project is to create a poster of the solar system on the window. The place where the poster would go would be in the laboratory. We chose this place because it is the only room in the E.S.O. where the windows aren’t decorated. Also we choose the windows because we have the street bonanova, there pase a lots of cars and people and for us is ugly. We chose the solar system because astrophysic is an underrepresented science.
